Privacy Policy
Effective date: February 10, 2026
The Short Version
Phaselock does not collect, store, or transmit any of your personal data. Everything stays on your device. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no third-party SDKs, and no advertising. Your goals and tasks are yours alone.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
Phaselock does not collect:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number)
- Usage analytics or behavioral data
- Location data
- Device identifiers or fingerprints
- Advertising identifiers
- Crash reports or diagnostics (beyond what Apple collects at the OS level with your consent)
2. Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is created and stored exclusively on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework (backed by SQLite). This data never leaves your device:
- Your goal text and commitment descriptions
- Daily tasks and completion status
- Day-by-day progress history (the dot grid)
- App preferences and settings
- Trial start date and subscription status checks
This data is protected by Apple's iOS Data Protection, which encrypts it when your device is locked.
3. Sign in with Apple
Phaselock uses Sign in with Apple as its authentication method. When you sign in, Apple provides the App with an anonymous, app-specific user identifier. We do not receive your real email address, name, or Apple ID unless you explicitly choose to share this information during the sign-in process.
Your authentication credentials are stored in the iOS Keychain using the kSecAttrAccessibleWhenUnlockedThisDeviceOnly protection class, meaning they are encrypted and accessible only when your device is unlocked. Credentials are not backed up to iCloud or transferred to other devices.
4. Notifications
Phaselock can send local notifications to remind you of your morning ritual and evening check-in. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device using iOS local notification APIs. No push notification servers are involved, and no notification data is transmitted externally.
5. Subscriptions
Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Phaselock verifies your subscription status on-device using Apple's StoreKit 2 framework. We do not operate a receipt validation server, and no purchase information is sent to any external service.
6. Third-Party Services
Phaselock has zero external dependencies. The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, crash reporting tools, advertising networks, or social media frameworks. The only external communications are Apple's built-in services:
- Sign in with Apple (authentication)
- App Store (subscription verification)
7. Network Requests
Phaselock does not make any network requests to servers owned or operated by Lucker Dogs LLC. The App has no backend, no API, and no cloud infrastructure. App Transport Security (ATS) is enabled with no exceptions.
8. Data Deletion
To delete all data associated with Phaselock:
- Delete the App: Uninstalling Phaselock from your iPhone removes all locally stored data, including your goals, tasks, progress history, and preferences.
- Revoke Sign in with Apple: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Sign In & Security > Sign in with Apple > Phaselock > Stop Using Apple ID.
Because no data is stored on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our end. Deleting the App is a complete and permanent removal of all your data.
9. Children's Privacy
Phaselock is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the App collects no data from any user, there is no risk of inadvertent collection of children's data.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
