1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Phaselock iOS application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Lucker Dogs LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

Phaselock is a personal commitment and habit-tracking application for iPhone. The App allows you to set daily promises tied to long-term goals, complete tasks, and track progress visually through a dot grid interface. All data is stored locally on your device. Phaselock does not operate any backend servers, cloud storage, or data synchronization services.

3. Authentication

Phaselock uses Sign in with Apple as its sole authentication method. By using the App, you agree to Apple's terms and conditions governing Sign in with Apple. We receive only an anonymous identifier from Apple — we do not receive or store your email address, name, or other personal information through the authentication process unless you explicitly choose to share it.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Phaselock offers a free 30-day trial period beginning when you first create an account. After the trial period, continued use of the App requires an active subscription at $4.99 per month (USD).

• Subscriptions are auto-renewable and billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings or the App Store.
• All billing, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store terms. We do not process payments directly.

5. User Content

Any content you enter into the App — including goals, daily tasks, and other text — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device database technology. We do not have access to, collect, transmit, or store your content on any server. You retain full ownership of all content you create within the App.

6. Data and Privacy

Your privacy is fundamental to Phaselock's design. The App contains no analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs, and makes no network requests beyond Apple's built-in services (Sign in with Apple and App Store subscription verification). For complete details, please review our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, visual elements, and branding, is owned by Lucker Dogs LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Attempt to circumvent subscription verification or trial limitations.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Distribute, sublicense, or make the App available to third parties in any unauthorized manner.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Phaselock is a personal productivity tool and is not a substitute for professional advice, therapy, or medical treatment.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lucker Dogs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because all data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, deletion of the App, or any other cause. We recommend maintaining regular device backups through iCloud or iTunes.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
